Grateful for the Memories
by: Dan Schindler
Sifting through 2007 reveals a harvest of
opportunities taken and missed; goals met and not; rich blessings; joys
and sorrows. And for it all, we want to say thank you.
December has proven a difficult month with two dear friends lost,...Jim
Knorr, chivalrous humanitarian, friend and mentor,...and Gary Parenteau
a recent Paragon Instructor graduate who sat in the front row of our
life. Your friendships are sorely missed. Yet all who knew you are
rejoicing in the memories of our time spent afield. We can smile, yes,
even laugh as we reminisce the caring and sharing, the comradeship
that’s left an indelible mark. Eternally, we are all better men and
women, enduring friends for your engaging us with your benevolence and
passion for life.
As we take our first steps into the New Year, consider pausing and
giving thanks as well to this business of sporting clays, more than a
pastime, so much more than a sport. How many of the relationships we
treasure the most have come to us through sporting clays? Our
bittersweet growth and enlightenment? The companionship and memories? We
are grateful.
Cheryl and I, and each of the Paragon Associates, wish you and yours all
of life’s wondrous blessings and a peaceful path in the year ahead. |
